Ursula Magnes is editor in chief for Classic Radio Stephansdom, Vienna. She began her career in radio in 1999 as music editor and moderator for Radio Stephansdom, a private radio station established in Vienna in 1998. In 2001 she became Editor in Chief of the music departement.

Over the last 15 years Ursula Magnes has produced numerous special programs including the live weekly broadcast ”Rubato”, a 60-minute live talk show with special guests combined with a themed music program.

Ursula Magnes has studied the oboe and the recorder at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts and is regularly invited to give public presentations on music programs and artists; for example, at the Salzburg Festival, the Vienna Musikverein and for the Friends of the Vienna State Opera. In 2015 she was nominated for the Radio Prize of Adult Education with her radio series ”I listen Rumania”.
