Marie-Christine Saragosse
Chairwoman & CEO
France M├ędias Monde

After graduating from “Sciences Po” and the “Ecole Nationale d’Administration” (ENA), France’s best two post-graduate schools for careers in the public sector, Marie-Christine Saragosse began her career in public media at the Ministry of Communications and within the cabinet of the Minister for La Francophonie, before joining in 1993 the department of Foreign French Media at the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs (overseeing Radio France Internationale and then-called TV5, among others). It was all natural that Mrs. Saragosse then went to work for TV5 in 1997, from Assistant General Manager to Deputy CEO in 2001. After a short stint back at the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs in charge of cultural cooperation and the promotion of French, Mrs. Saragosse was called back to newly-named TV5MONDE as Chief Executive Officer in 2008. She was appointed October 5, 2012 Chairwoman and CEO of the France Médias Monde group (formerly called "Audiovisuel Extérieur de la France"), which includes the 24/7 news channel France 24, and the radio stations RFI and Monte Carlo Doualiya.
